The basic design of the doors is almost the same within the different markets, but the dimensions, fittings, door casings, etc. are tailored for the special standards of the individual markets.

The product development is proceeding partly through an ongoing development of our standard products and partly in cooperation with customers, who demand special solutions. All major product development activities are coordinated across the national market and production units by a Group Coordination Committee in order to optimise the sharing of the know-how in the Group.

JELD-WEN Door Solutions prioritise the development of products which matches the demand for door solutions designed and adapted to the building traditions and the other interior of the buildings. The intention is also to offer door solutions to the market as prefinished sets ready for mounting.
