JELD-WEN Suomi OY has agreed to take over the open offer- and order stock from Kaskipuu OY as they have decided to close down their factory in Raahe, Finland and the sales of project business. The Raahe factory has been producing commercial doors for hotels, hospitals and business properties with a turnover of approx. 2 MEUR.

JELD-WEN Suomi OY will finish pending and on-going projects and in the future take care of after sales service to Kaskipuus project customers. It has been important for Kaskipuus CEO Matti Kaski to find a reliable partner. "In JELD-WEN we have found a reliable partner for our customers that can secure high quality, delivery reliability and optimal service", says Matti Kaski.

JELD-WEN Suomi OY's CEO Martti Pernanen says: "I am sorry on behalf of the employees at the Raahe plant that Kaskipuu has had to make this decision, but in the current tough market situation it is understandable that the decision was necessary. At the same time I am of course happy that Kaskipuu has chosen JELD-WEN as its partner in the close down phase.
