JELD-WEN Masters
From August 12.-15. 2009 a part of the Danish ECCO Tour was held in Løgstør – JELD-WEN Masters.
In connection with the tournament we invited some of our customers from England, Finland and Denmark to Løgstør to play golf. Instructions were given by the former European Tour player Thomas Nielsen and the day ended successfully with dinner and social gathering in the evening.
The next day a pro-am (1 professional and 3 amateurs in one team) was played. JELD-WEN had 5 teams out of 36 and 2 of the teams were so good that they won some of the prices.
One of the objectives of the sponsorship was to make the JELD-WEN more known and with the professional set-up made by the organisers of the ECCO-tour we succeeded quite well. The exposing of the JELD-WEN name on tee-signs, flags and signs was very good.

After the pro-am a professional tournament was held and JELD-WEN invited our employees to watch the final. Unfortunately it was a cold, rainy and windy day, but the golf was good.
